Jim Pearson 50 years a Mark Man

On Monday afternoon the 12th June 2023, I along with R. W. Bro. Tony Harrison, P.G.J.W., P.Prov.Dep.G.M. & Alan Gregory P.Prov. G.J.W. spent a very pleasant afternoon visiting Jim Pearson, P.G.J.D.

We were there to celebrate Jims 50 years as a Mark Man and as a member of Morecambe Mark No.716.

Whilst Jim can no longer attend any masonic meetings, he still has an active mind, and although his sight is not too good either, he did recognise us on introduction.

Locally, Jim was well known as a singer preforming the Master’s Song at many Installations. He loved to do the same at Ladies evening being a little cheeky with the Roses Song!

On departure he thanked us for our visit and wished all the best for the future of Morecambe Mark.
